A lot like the simcoe very very fragrant bitter juicy hops. Very dry and bitter but oh so delicious.

Half pour at the brewery during the Saison Bernice release, poured into a snifter glass. Nice big soapy head sits ontop of the beer. Aroma of ripe tropical fruit: pineapple, mango and slight pear. Some dank citrus hops comes through, but mostly a sweet fruit aroma. Taste follows with a nice juicy mouth and lingering bitterness. Almost all the finishes of the Simple: series reminds me of IPAs. There is a light malt presence with a honey sweetness that goes along with the mango/pineapple flavor. Nice medium carbonation. The finish appears to be dry, but it could just be the bitterness being a bit overpowering. Nice beer. I always thought beers with Galaxy hops were pretty weak (Prairie, Hill Farmstead), but this and Crooked Stave Hop Savant changed my mind.

Tap. Pours cloudy light amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is light overall, with notes of cat piss, stone fruit, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, pine resin, tropical fruits. Medium body, a touch minerally. Nice and refreshing.

Another APA from SARA in the Simple series, this time with Galaxy hops. Poured a cloudy light gold, with a medium white head. Huge citrus aroma with a balanced taste. Medium bodied beer with good carbonation, nice bitter finish.

Big grapefruit and fruity tropical aromas tangy and with a bunch of dissolved co2 for a spritzy feel. Pushing a very full aroma. Resinous surface real bitterness in the finish. Lean and dry but busy by fingers of neroli, cantaloupe and soft honey. Adairius does mouthfeel right. I love this beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours nice gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is a melange of citrus rinds, grapefruit especially. Flavor follows with a ton of grapefruit rind and a very bitter, lengthy finish. Malt takes a back seat; this is all about oily hoppiness on the back of the palate.

A - a nice glowing gold with low white head and sticky lacing. S - So hoppy! Simple and very clean. Lightly dank piney hops. Grassy and some notes of stone fruit. M - medium body with a nice palate. Strong but very smooth. Spritzy carb. T - piney and almost dank hops lead the taste. Clean citrus zest and mineral water. Bready and caramel malts round this out. O - a very nice simple, clean, delicious pale. 4.1
