A- pours a hazy deep straw yellow with a mild, clingy white head that thins quickly. Good lacing. S- sharp soggy pine and grapefruit lead the way. Some hay notes. A citrus smoothly blend of mango, lemon, kiwi. Some sudsy soap product. M- light, tacky and biting body with a lightly tart palate. Decent carbonation. T- similar to the aroma. Sharp sharp pine tree up front followed immediately by grapefruit. Bitter to the bitter end. Faint pepper and coriander. Soap and muddled citrus come in the mid palate with soap and straw toward the lingering end. 3.8

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a white head. Hop resin aroma, apple, citrus zest. Flavor follows in kind, sappy piney resins, herbal with a touch of citrus and a clean bitter finish.

Tap@SARA. Pours almost milky golden, small white head, decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is a citrus bomb, as advertised, dank and strong, pine notes in the background. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit dry actually, light bitterness, juicy. Finish is try with little lingering bitterness. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Nice not-quite session beer.

Full pour at the brewery. Aroma is citrus forward, mostly grapefruit with a light tropical note. Nice twist of pine and hay as well. The beer pours cloudy light orange with soapy head and decent head retention. Flavor starts off with a mostly floral character and a bit of a biscuit/cracker taste before the hops start to kick in. The hop character balances out the malt with grapefruit and light resin taste. The finish has a mellow tropical note. After taste is honey, cracker and dough, light grass/hay. Overall, a nice pale ale that stays away from being too bitter. There is pleasant subtle farmhouse quality with the hay and fruity finish.

Growler pour from brewery. Tulip glass. Nice, translucent golden pour, with 1 finger egg white head, that dissipates to a lingering ring. Elegant aromas and flavors of citrus rind and earthy, piney, dank hops. Light mouthfeel, with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. A well crafted, low abv., easy to drink local APA. Solid. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Light yellow. Minor haze. Persistent head. This is a great smelling beer. Chinook citra and simcoe? Taste is minor medicinal. Very juicy. Very bright and the finish is very sweet. Piney but in no way the detracts. Pretty damn good.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is fairly hoppy with quite a bit of grapefruit citrus notes and some lighter tropical fruit balanced with moderate notes of pine resin. Medium light cracker and biscuit character. Pours a fairly cloudy yellow orange with a small white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers nicely. Medium high lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a moderate cracker malt character with a light sweetness. Medium hop flavor of grapefruit and pine resin with some faint tropical fruit notes and light lemon notes. Medium high bitterness that is fairly assertive for the size of the beer. Finishes with a nice dryness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty enjoyable pale ale with a lot of hops but it has a danker hop character than something like Zombie Dust. A nice malt character balances the hop notes and bitterness.
