On tap at the brewery. Overt grapefruit and slight spiced wheat grain. Hazy pale orange with white head of disjointed large bubbles. Citrus and juicy fruit with yeast and cracker grain. Moderate bitterness with semi-sweet finish.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Pours hazy golden witha medium creamy white head and great lacing. Aroma is citra, citrus tropical, a bit of cat piss. Flavor is the same, very light sweet, light plus bitter, bitter finish. Medium light body, mineral mouthfeel. Reminiscent of hill farmstead. A little too much bettering hops to compete with zombie dust, but pretty good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2L Growler thanks to belgianthings on BA. Beautiful pour, spotty white lace on a glowing, light yellow pour. Sharp pale malt nose, nutty, a tad husky with some butterscotch. Taste is very bitter, salty, grassy, mild mango and heavy nutty bitterness. Just too aggressive on the bittering hops for me :/

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Multiple pours throughout the week in San Jose at Good Karma, reviewed from notes. Pours extremely slow (nitro-like) out of the tap and into the glass with an unfiltered hazy pale golden/yellow color. Nice head retention that leaves noticeable laces as the drink subsides. Aroma is dominated by spicy floral qualities that tie very well into the dank hops. Light fruit esters, along with citrus: sweet orange peel, grapefruit. Underlying rustic aroma on the back end: dough, slightly catty, light hay. Taste follows aroma for the most part with a moderate malt body to balance the spicy and resiny hops, not as fruity as the aroma may suggest. Medium carbonation and moderate bitterness that isnít as astringent tasting as 831 IPA tends to be. Finish is smooth and clean with lingering crackery taste. Finish is somewhat dry as well. Overall appears a little more fruity in aroma than 831 and slightly cleaner, but still far behind the genius of Northern Influence.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy brown orange with a medium sized fine white head garnished with a fresh hop cone for IPA Day. Nose is juicy fresh citrus, grapefruit, some sweeter tropical notes and pine. Clean dry crackery malt underneath it all. Taste is mildly sweet with strong bitterness. Flavor is just like the nose full of grapefruit and sweeter citrus, both flesh and peel, sweet tropical notes, resinous pine and dry malt. A medium amount of bitterness in the finish. Body is medium light with fine carbonation. Excellent.

Dank. Wonderful aroma. Crisp, bitter flavor. Bordering an IPA. One of the best beers I've had in a long time. In tap at Trappist Provisions in Oakland, CA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. It pours a bright yellow color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is nice and dank with some spicy citrus and orange. The flavor is dry, spicy with a little garlic and orange...nice grassy bitter finish. Love the direction they take with pretty much every style.
