Growlette from Growl Movement. Hazy medium amber in color. Nose is wheat and yeast. Some spiciness and banana. A little bit of graininess as well. Grainy up front with moderate clove. A little banana. Not as sweet as I normally like for the style. Decent rendition. A bit hoppy for the style.

On draught at Santiam Brewing. Light hazy golden color. Aroma is clove, wheat, and banana. Taste is ripe banana, clove, light wheat and yeast, and sweet malt. Quite refreshing and a good true hefeweizen.

Salem Oregon. Wheat aroma. Overpowering. Too cloudy, even for a hef. Not an enjoyable beer. The brewery may want to add an orange with this beer. It would help mellow out the wheat taste.

Nice big Imperial pint at Ventis Taphouse in S.Salem. $4.50 Typical hazy, bright yellow coloured weiss with a small pure white head. Good banana, wheat and bubble gum aromas..slightly spicy Pretty traditional rendition ( as seems to be this brewery thing) bubblegum, banana, spice very nice. Typical hefe mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Overall a good clean traditional rendition. Went well with my Moroccan wings.
