Popped off the cap and picked up some green grass notes that surprised me at first, but they quickly faded into some funk barnyard notes. Then I start looking up to the light .... seeing a thin cloud with in the body that feels thin on the palate because of some candy sweetness. Appearance is a bit mind boggling to the taste so extra points for that. Otherwise if filtered it may look and smell a bit like a wine cooler (ducks) Just a bit too candy sweet. thinnly sticky. dry finish. The unfiltered is nice and the funk makes up for any lameness. As it warms up to the ending nice little sips of complexity between malts and hops taking over the sweet.

(Santorini Red Donkey) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a glass tankard, ABV 5.5% Deep red to amber colour on the body, clear at first. Small off-white head, thin, with okay retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, light caramel, grains. Taste is also grainy, nutty, some faint metallic notes on the finish, again grassy hops, hints of citrus and fruity touches. Nicely bitter. Medium thin boddy, carbonation is on good levels. Not bad at all, easy to drink amber ale.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2015 At the 1st tasting of 2015 in Belgrade-Serbia. Gladly shared by the friends of the Hoppy Imports from Greece. Pours amber color hazy with a decent white cap. Nose: bread crust, yeast working on the beer must. Mouth: maltiness, persisting bitterness, thin body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub Thessaloniki. Clear amber copper color with off white head. Aroma is fruity, light malty and yeasty. Sweet and light bitter taste, more hoppy than the aroma. Light to medium body almost oily with average carbonation.

Bottle from brewery. Pours a very hazy red copper color with a small white head. Nose of caramel, and citrus. medium to full body. Bitterness on the finish. Soft carbonation. My least favourite of their beers.

2/3 on the minitour of the brewery. A really strong earth/dirt note that really hit over the top for me, combined with a too-bitter hop bite that wasn’t matched by aromatics.

Hazy amber with little in the way of head on the beer. In fact, the more that was poured out of the bottle, the uglier it got. Aromas of ripening stonefruit - nectarine, apricots and peaches with similar flavours. Not a bad sort of beer but nothing that would knock my socks off.

Bottle. Hazy copper with a big white head. Aroma and taste are sweet like Fruity Pebbles with some citrus and caramel notes. Rich mouthfeel with little carb. Alcohol is somewhat apparent. Not bad but a little unbalanced.
