3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Light fruity aroma, grapes and yeast. Taste is fruity, spritzy mouthfeel, high carbonated, light sweet grapes and passion fruit. Moderate dry fruity finish, not bad.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
10.11.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh, wet grain, flowers, weeds, hay, yeast, hints of citrus. Taste is slightly sweet, wet grain, hay, yeast, flowers, weeds, sugar. Little bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Just another golden ale. But, Iíd rather drink this one in the sun when at Santorini rather than any other crappy pale lager thoug.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(33 cl bottle courtesy of my outstanding colleague Lars, huge thanks! BBD: March 24th 2014; L-280/13) Pours a hazy golden with medium, dense, white head. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is grainy with hints of dust, citrus, hay and herbs like mint or oregano. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body with a somewhat sweet, malty finish. Nice flavour with more emphasis on the herbal, hoppy notes. Septemís Sunday is the inevitable comparison here. I think the hop profile on the Donkey is more interesting but the overall balance and technical quality is marginally preferable on the Septem. Overall this is a perfect beer for a Santorini holiday! Girlfriend says "It reminds me of the Lebanese Pale Ale. Itís good."

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at brewery. Clear dark orange pour with a small, firm white head on top. Nose and taste are pretty much spot on and standard. Biscuit caramel and light citric hops. Well rounded but nothing more. Solid

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottles in Oia and Kamari, Santorini- this bottle at Feredini, Oia, 30/07/13. Translucent pale orange with a fine collar. Aroma of crystallised orange and lemon peel; tangerine jelly and herb. Fresh and zesty with lemony hop and lavender hints over soggy tea dunked biscuit. Bit of an empty finish without the bitterness anticipated by the (seemingly) generous hopping. Gently effervescent. Sweet. Very sessionable. For those dwelling in the Eurozone at least. Me, I canít afford it...

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very yeasty aroma not typical of a golden ale, no glass to pour into, taste is pleasant with mild bitterness and citrus hop favors. Palate is a bit soapy, but still reasonable. Overall the best greek beer Iíve had so far.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from a shop in Santorini. Wheaty and yeasty, slightly dry, slightly fruity. Quite good, hits the spot on a hot day.
