Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. A bit boring.

Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2010
It’s unclear yellow-orange with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of banana, wheat and yeast. The flavour is sweet and rather dry with notes of banana, wheat, light yeast/clove and the finish is dry with a touch of both butterscotch, citrus and clove. A bit weird.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours healthy looking, sunny orange, quite bright as for a Weizen in its colour, carbonation of the body is initially quite lively, later on definitely weaker, head is initially huge, dense, pillowy and compact, milky white in colour and frothy to creamy in texture, head leaves nice lacing.
Aroma: What is striking initially is its distinct aroma of a fresh canned herring in tomato sauce, fresh carrot and strawbeery juice, nice salty - sourish wheat accents, some mellow influence of yeast, generally well hidden alcohol and quite light, almost session like Weizen with a lot of mineral accents.
Taste: Rather light bodied front, wax, mineral accents, yeast, some grainy texture, especially wheat but nontheless barley malt influence is quite high, juicy, quite refreshing, some notes of cardboard and paper with flour towards the end, quite light as for a Weizen but compensated by some extra yeasty accents. Finish duration is medium with some spicy notes, low in hoppy profile.
Palate: Bodi is medium, texture is mellow and kind of milky, carbonation on palate is quite lively. Finish feel is abrupt, short, not very impressive.

pivnizub (7022) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck!): Yellow, cloudy, big creamy off-white head; light to moderate citrussy-wheaty nose with traces of yeast; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, quite slim to almost watery; a little tartness in the short sourish grainy-wheaty finish. Drinkable and refreshing, even though a bit thin......

MoritzF (7137) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2009
(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a thick and slightly off-white foamy head. Dusty and sweet wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana and a tinge of apricots, accompanied by a delicate clovy touch. Sweet and slightly acidic flavour, slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Yeasty, subtle grainy and fruity wheat-malty taste with a light touch of cardboard; moderately dry and fruity, slightly acidic and tart finish. Middle of the road Weizen. 16.XI.09
