A vége meglepően keserű. Finom.

From my backlogg: Bottle. HAzy golden beer with an offwhite head. Hoppy, spicy citrus aroma with some metallic notes. Similar flavour. Ok but not very thrilling...

Frisch gezapft. Naturtrüb und goldbraun. Durchschnittliche Schaumkrone. Leichtes Bananen- und Weizenaroma.

Hazy golden beer with a thin head. It’s a pretty standard wheat beer but it’s very nice. Fruity but not sickly. Quite crisp.

0.5l bottle. Orange color with white head. Aroma is cloves, banana and wheat. Taste is sweet with banana and cloves. Medium body and average carbonation. Overall it’s very good hefeweizen.

Some contingent marked as an export to China ended in Serbia, so I tried. Unfiltered, nice top, nice honey orange colour. Typical clean aroma and taste of German Hefe Weizen. Refreshing, but without some further ambition. I think that is mostly the politics of the nation drinking beer. If the beer is complex, you can not drink it a lot; if it is mostly neutral, you can drink it instead of water. The problem is that I can not drink beer in litres. Anyway, this is the standard, and we have to pay tribute to the standard always.

Great Weizen with a dark golden color. Great yeast aroma and a very balanced taste.

Keg at Carls Brauhaus, Stuttgart, 08/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is vanilla, yeast esters, clove, toffee, banana. Taste comprises straw, teast, toffee, spice, light metallic strains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok hefe - the metallic nip in the taste lets it down a little.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2015 Nose: nice lemon, banana, yeast, bread aroma ... maybe a touch of berry. Relatively thick, sticky head. Cloudy, amber yellow. Looks like a good beer. Taste: Lightly sweet, with a tiny touch of sour/acidity. Some bitterness but not long lasting. Kind of simple tasting ... bit of yeast and butteriness. Palate: a bit flat up front. creamy, silky and oily in feeling/texture. not much follow-thru (some residual light bitterness and flavor). Really nice beer based on appearance and nose, but falls a little short on flavor. Palate sensation is not my favorite but ok. Overall a solid beer, but just a bit weak on complexity.
