Draft at some restaurant in Vaihingen, Germany. Poured cloudy golden yellow with a very full, slightly yellow head. Veyr nic elooking hefe. Same aroma as the dunkel- yeast, banana, clove. Flavor is a bit more bitter with less sweetness than the dunkel. Lots more carbonation too. Finish is somewhat bitter and doesn’t finish like a hefeweizen with a lingering sweetness. This finishes kind of dry like a pilsner. Good beer.

rather good hefe, loads of clove and banana, higher body than most, very nice. Was consumed at almost room temp considering the massive heat wave going on..

Pours a beautiful yellow with a wonderfully fluffy, white head. Flavor is a decent mix typical hefe ingredients, but it needs a little more ooomph. Palate is smooth. Finish is nice, with a touch of banana and orange.

Huge white full lasting head. Cloudy orange colour. Aroma is malty, citrusy with light spicy and fruit (pear) notes. Flavor is malty too with fruity (citrus, pear and apple) notes and a hint of spices, ending in a malty and moderately acidic finish. Light bodied.
