Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. Lemon, banana, and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Sour lemon and wheat malt flavor. A nice enough wheat ale but not many Weizen characteristics.

Feb 7, 2008 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine foam. Tastes very fruity, like a very normal hefeweizen. Well balanced finish. Really good!

Aug 3, 2007 Not a huge fan of Kristall Weizen. I’m a bigger fan of the unfiltered hefe. This kristall weizen wasn’t bad though, when you put a piece of citrus fruit in it. Overall, not so bad.

Apr 27, 2006 Served as Weizenkrone in a Thai restaurant in Stuttgart. Clear golden with a small head. Light wheaty aroma. Smooth and refreshing, but a bit too carbonated. Lemon and sweet banana flavour. Went very well as an apéritif to delicious Thai food (21.04.06).
