Poured into a hotel room plastic cup. A solid two fingers of head, not going anywhere soon. A murky brown colored body. Smells like wet hay and ripe fruit. A watered down taste, a little sweet, a kick of bitterness, ripe apricot. Lighter body, low carbonation. An enjoyable dunkel.

Hazy deep amber to brown colored, strong beige head, good lacing, lasting. Aroma is malty, caramel, toasty, yeast, banana and spices. Taste is moderate sweet caramel, toffee, banana bread, toasted bread, cloves and other spices. Body is low to medium, moderate- carbonation. It’s an OK dunkelweizen but something in the flavor is a bit off from the standard Dunkel notes.

Turbia, cobriza. Espuma crema, densa. Aroma ligeramente a plátano y especiada.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2015 Nose: not a strong aroma, but hints of yeast, dough, banana, clove, leather, soy sauce. Rich coffee/cola brown pour with a moderate amount of light tan head. Quite cloudy and active carbonation is not discernible due to opaqueness. Head recedes pretty quickly to a light foam layer that holds on to the glass. Good initial flavors. Chocolate, citrus, tartness, fair amount of maltiness, roasted, toast. Medium bodied and quite lively/fizzy on the palate. Decent bitterness on the follow thru, underlying yeast/creaminess. Overall, a good beer. Enjoyable, but seems different than your typical Dunkel. Kind of in the middle between a Wheat Beer and a Black Beer - not as wheaty as a classic Weizen, nor as rich as a classic Schwarz. I call this the Roasted Weizen.
