COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A mix of pure Maple Syrup and Wildflower Honey. Smooth and rich without being overly sweet. Notes of flowers, apples and caramel play upon the palette. While the maple presents itself it provides a clean finish. Some prefer this mead chilled or on ice.

500ml bottle from a trade from awhile back. also sampled at the source during the month of september... pours a mostly clear transparent golden cidery hue. fairly clean with thin legs not leaving much of a trace even after gentle swirling... smooth clean apple and honey notes upfront. maple adds some sweetness but doesn’t offer up too much distinction. honey still remains the focus which is nice since it’s very clean and to the point... flavors offer up a similar profile with clean honey at first, semisweet with some added maple sweetness but overall it finishes more on a semi-dry note with warmth from the abv in addition to some peppery spice that extends beyond the backend. lighter bodied than most meads and doesn’t bog itself down byt tryng to be too big. this could substitue for a white wine as it doesn’t come across as being too sweet although their is a bit of a booze factor that detracts from the overall experience.

Bottle at James’ tasting. Pours gold with no head. Maple and honey sweet aroma, with lighter spicy notes. The flavor has honey and maple sweetness, a hint of vanilla, and a little bit of booze.

Bottle at a tasting at James’ place. Pours a clear bright yellow gold. Super sweet honey and candy. Beautiful aroma. Medium bodied, a bit less flavorful than the aroma suggests, but still nice. Subtle and smooth honey, warmth and sweetness. Tasty.

My least favorite of the 4 meads I had at the tasting but it was still great. The aroma was floral and spicy with cider. The taste was more of the same with heavy apple blossum and peppery spice. Very subtle maple which I found strange but still very good.

Pours a light golden color with one or two stray bubbles. Smells of sweet honey with faint hints of sugary maple. This smells fantastic. Taste is sweet and smooth with a slight but not harsh alcohol burn. Medium to thick body, still, sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. Great mead!
