BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 26, 2007 Can: Pours a golden pale color with light head, which goes down quick. A squalid nose with some light toast and a quickly disappointing hop and grassy chemical note. The flavor is sharp, not bitter or hoppy, just chemically and dry, lots of adjuncts and corn. Bah! Happoshu. IslandHaole (1030), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan May 24, 2007 Another new macroswill from Sapporo. Clear, pale gold color with a white head, active carbonation (Gee surprise surprise) Scent of sour wet hay, taste, typical bland macro, light sweetness in the front, slight metallic tang in the middle, quick finish with a touch of dry grass and spice/cigar tobacco hop in the aftertaste. *Yawn* Why can’t they make beers with some flavor?
