Transfer from BA review on 11-29-12-
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a lighter amber/deep straw color with a two finger pure white head. The head has a decent level of retention, fading to give a nice level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of rice. Mixed with these are some grainy smells as well as a grassy smell.
Taste – The taste begins with flavors of rice and bready flavors. A light caramel flavor joins the taste up front. Mixed with the caramel is a paper and slightly grassy flavor. Toward the end of the taste, a sweeter flavor of a citrus and more grass flavor come to the tongue. In the end a rather odd papery, grassy, rice/malt flavor are left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the average side. While both make it more refreshing, it is nothing really special.
Overall – Ah nothing too hot. I would not frequent this one.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. I didn’t mind this. No special effects or complexities to unearth but, for a pale lager, it provided what I’d expect plus a little more. Fine lemon citrus - both juice and pith - with some grain notes and a subtle malt sweetness. Light, fresh and balanced with a modest intensity bitterness of adequate length. Light to medium body, medium carbonation on a firm mouthfeel.
