2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
DATE TASTED: December 1, 2013... GLASSWARE: standard pilsner...OCCASION: Christmas tree-trimming and decorating... APPEARANCE: clear as crystal golden body; thin, filmy, off-white head; steady effervescence; thick, screening lacing is surprisingly attractive... AROMA: malty base; some bubblegum and dough--not really articulated... PALATE: a bit creamy; crisp and clear--surprisingly smooth...TASTE: woody aftertaste follows a swift, slightly metallically hopped profile; as macro lagers go, inoffensive...OVERALL: a good compliment for the pita chips I’m eating now--palate-cleansing and soft...

Large can morrisons. Aroma is sweetcorn. Taste is sweet bread. A very good example of a larger for a non larger drinker. Medium carbonation. Not much aftertaste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz can. Pours a pale yellow color with medium-sized white head. Somewhat unusual fruity aroma. Flavor is mostly sweet and a bit tart. Different from your ordinary pale lager, not outstanding by any means, but different.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Aroma has a very mild herbal spiciness, flavour adds a slight medicinal note. As bland lagers go this one isn’t unpleasant, just rather dull.

Bottle pale yellow. Nose adjunct, corn, slight medicinal. Taste not much. Similar to nose. Served ice cold, actually ice floating in the glass, more tolerable that way.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow, it’s a long list of Sapporo beers. This one is the only one I’ve tasted. I can say it’s a fine beer, brewed in Canada nevertheless. Its aroma is quite average, malty and cereal. Its color is blond, not too deep, its carbonatation is good. It tastes like german beers (just a bit) it must be the same recipe, malty and bitter at the end.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear golden color with very little head, Sapporo smells like malt with a floral hint. It has a somewhat bitter taste and after.
