Sapporo will always hold an important place in my heart right next to my first love, my friends who are no longer with us, and string cheese.

Light Yellow, Little and short lasting head, no lacing. Another tasteless and bland macro brew. Light sweet malt, that is about it. Nothing real bad, nor anything great. Tastes like any other lager, so the only thing that separates it from the rest - a gimmick, this came from Japan. If it came from Missouri, the only drinkers it would attract - Bud Crowd....

the only thing that sets this apart (slightly!) from a million other boring lagers is the kinda reasonable level of bitterness. Unfortunately, though, it’s all undone by the sickly sweetness and rancid cooking oil notes. But, hey, that’s just another day in macro world, innit?

Had this on draft at sunda. Golden pour. No head. Mild hops. Grass and wheat taste. Japanese delight !

Pours a light yellow colour with a pure-white head. Smells malty, with some tea notes. Taste is pretty bland, like most mainstream lagers. For the style, this is alright. An interesting beer to try, but nothing to write home about.

Golden beer with a medium head. Malty aroma, nice moderate bitterness. Finish is a little sweet. Not bad.

The appearance is a pale yellow color with a minimum white head that fades completely quickly, and the aroma is reminiscent of yeast and slightly of sweet bread malt. The taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, and the palate combines a medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.

Sampled from a 22 oz can this beer poured a clear pale yellow with a medium sized foamy white head. The aroma was faintly grainy and tangy with a hint of crisp hops. The flavor was dryish, a bit grainy and had a light tangy lager presence with a hint of crisp hops. Short dryish grainy finish. Light to medium body. Somewhat bland but pleasant.

Pours pale gold color with white foamy head that dissipates quickly. Malt and rice aromas. Rice and some malt taste. Typical pale lager. Crisp and refreshing but nothing special.

Not as good as Kirin. Boring. Just took another swig, and is worse than boring. Brewed in Guelph, Canada. Explains why it is boring, but doesn’t explain why it is worse than boring.

Actually not a bad beer. Clean, crisp and fresh. Nothing spectacular, but also no artificial or other flavours that shouldn’t be there.
