UPDATED: DEC 8, 2003 22 oz. can. Um, so this is “dry?” Really? There's a nice smell when you first flip the can tab, but it doesn't carry over into the taste. Less malt taste to come through, which makes me think of adjuncts. Sure enough, the taste is gone as soon as I swallow. I suppose it would go good with food, but so would an instant iced tea. “Draft” should imply that it’s filtered instead of pasteurized, but I get none of that here. Just barley water.

Une pale lager typée, tout en fraîcheur et en fruit, idéale sur les sushis.

F: huge frothy white head not long lasting. C: clear golden. A: mostly malt. T: malty flavour, some sweetness, mild bitterness on the palate, overpriced I think 6e for 650ml can from Delhaize in Brussels, nothing special pale lager for me.

Japanese beer. Perfection in a can. It’s good and you either love it or hate it. The Japanese make great scotch and great beer, but it’s like a Buckethead playing guitar. Clean, technically perfect and insane but still lacking something. If only Frank Zappa brewed beer....

Draft at Sushi-Zushi. Clear gold with a little white head. Yeasty, crisp, and light. Not terrible, but okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a tap as well as bottle at various Japanese restaurants. Pours golden orange with light white head. Aroma of corn and rice with some sweetness. Mildly sweet finish with no off-putting flavors. There is nothing wrong with this beer, especially for the style. Easy drinking with some light sweetness.

Pours a golden yellow color with a light head as well as carbonation. Has a light hop smell. Taste is smooth without a dry taste to it. Overall it’s a good beer.
