Poured from a 22oz. can that was brewed in Canada. Clear, pale gold, decent white head. Faint metallic aroma behind a nose of a German-style pilsner. Rather bland tasting; almost as bad as Bud. Not horrid, but very little flavor. This is only the second time Iíve had Sapporo (the first was over 20 years ago), and it is the last time I pay for it.

Pitcher ordered at Zen Box in Mpls. Commonshawn present. Pale golden color with a healthy but quickly dissipating head. Aroma of grains, grassy, and a mild citrus. Taste is mostly watery with that standard lager, grain flavor. Bitterness hits towards the end like a boring American beer. Non-threatening and timid. In the right situation, you can still probably order something better.

A clean crisp lager that is about on par with its American counterparts. Crisp bite goes well with Japanese faire.

W aromacie słodowo, dosyć słodko. Klarowne, złote, jakieś szczątki lacingu, raczej bez piany. W smaku kiepsko, trochę stęchłe nuty. Brak posmaku.

650 ml can from Biggie Wine & Liquor into a Guinness glass. Clear yellow-gold appearance with a big, lingering white head and sticky lacing. Aroma of pale malts, light floral notes, rice, bread, corn and a touch of citrus. Similar flavor, pretty bland with mild sweetness and minimal bitterness. Light to medium body with a soft, creamy feel and a light malty sweet finish.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Vovaís place. Thanks mom for this bottle! Clear straw-golden with a white head. Aroma of grains, a corny note and a grassy note. Dry-ish flavor with light sweetness, grains, mild bitterness and a light grassy note. Light-bodied. Quite drinkable when served cold.

650ml can. Above average 5% lager. Maltier than most in terms of flavour and quite satisfying. Unfortunately it has that familiar cereal aroma I associate with cheap lager m7xed with some fruit aromas. A robust lager.

Fairly strong aroma of hops. Pours clear golden colour but with no head. Taste is medium sweet with floral hops flavours. Medium bodied for the style with average carbonation. Overall, nothing spectacular but not a bad been, My scores may be a little generous as I drank this cold on a hot day.

22 ounce can. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear straw gold color with a half inch white head that stuck around a little while. Thereís also a decent amount of lacing. Not much to the aroma, the brew smells like sweet malt and some light breadiness. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, itís sweet and bready, but also has a bit of bitterness in the finish. Also has a flavor that reminds me of Budweiser. Not sure if itís from the rice, but thereís just something similar about it to me. Mouthfeel/body is light, it has a good amount of carbonation and itís easy enough to drink. For what it is, itís not a bad brew at all. Iíd just have to be in a certain mood to drink this again, itís certainly not an every day beer for me. Itís worth a try if youíve never had it before.
