Canned. Very pale golden colour. Big fluffy white head that dissolves into a film. Medium lacing and bubbly carbonation. Aroma rather grassy and hints of lemon. Mostly citrus in the flavour with a thin mouthfeel. Slightly metallic finish.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Capa (1544) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Clear golden with active fermentation and a tiny head. Malts, sweet, some citrus fruit. Is there something thinner than water? Rather tasteless...a bit sweet. One of the lessor Japanese brews out there.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 29, 2007
Can: Citrusy malts in the nose, very, very thin, tons of adjuncts and watery. Happoshu.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Fish (440) - Kure, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 25, 2007
A can from a 7-11 in Kyoto. Pale yellow, fizzy appearance. Palate a lot like a 7-up. In fact, this whole beer experience was something akin to drinking a 7-up. Sweeter than your average J-Macro, and a little tart. Other than the tartness, no trace of hops. Bleh.

From can. What can I say. Probably the worst beer I tasted in Japan. Chemical beer. Could shine up some chrome if you wanted to.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 faroeviking (8598) - Kongens Lyngby, FÖROYAR, FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 8, 2006
Can. Yellow colour, little head, weak aroma of malt and hops. Flavour of malt and hops bit grainish and waterish. Thin aftertaste.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Frank (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 10, 2006
Funny thing about Japan--their cheap beer tastes like cheap beer.
Wait... That’s not really funny.
This stuff is actually pretty decent. It seems more similar to American macros than most Japanese macros which are somewhat more Pilsener-like and bitter.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Lunkie (1128) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - FEB 13, 2006
Sweet hop malr aroma. Clear amber colour with poor head and lacing. Sweet malt flavour with hops. Flat palate.
