Can from local 7-11 store. Back again and out of retirement. Deep malty nose, some grain. Dark brown, near copper color (very dark for a "pale" lager). Tasty, balanced, initial. Some decent hopping in mid. Thin-medium body. Rather over hopped for a lager. Interesting. Unusual color and biitering hops stand out. Okay.

Westkyoto77 (538) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 10, 2013
Can. First lager in a while, and on a hot night. Decent malt nose, grass, and hay. Fresh but not super crisp. A tad sweet? An OK no frills lager, but not a premium beer.

Straw, malt aroma. Sweet malt, cornbread, mild hops, watery finish. Quite drinkable but fairly boring overall.

KyotoLefty (6643) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 11, 2010
Can. Rather malty aroma, slightly grainy with light hops. Malty flavor, grainy, some fruit and light grassy hops. Tasty enough without being special. Reasonable bitterness at finish. Decent deep golden color. OK.

Can at Sunroute Shinjuku Hotel. Clear golden - white head. Light bitterness, white bread, candlewax, can, medium malty, toasted notes, light caramel. Plain.
