(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) near clear as water, ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of skunk, corn, a bit old, marshmallow and vomit. Taste is watery, marshmallow, skunk, metallic, gross.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2011 Low in calories, check. Low in carbohydrates, check. Gentle, smooth, and elegant in flavor, double check. Sapporo Light represents the most advanced evolution of light beer. Highly recomended.

A: The beer pours a clear, pale straw color with a finger of white head. S: Definitely heavy on the rice. Very light nose with a strong adjunct aroma and very little malt to it. Not much hops to it, perhaps a little bit of grass and some light skunk. Almost all rice. T: Slightly tangy, strangely. Lots of rice, in fact, that’s pretty much what it tastes like. A hint of white grape, grass, and a light vegetal character. Not terribly good (shockingly). M: Very light in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: Regular Sapporo is definitely preferable to this. But, it does it’s job as a light lager.

If it looks like urine, tastes like urine, and smells like grass, well its probably urine after having eaten asparagus. Not my favorite.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of urine, grass, and lemon zest. Flavor of grain, skunk, and grass with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

Bottle from Gabriels. Clear straw color with a bubbly white head. Farty odor. Farty and skunky. Taste is dry, corny, cardboard. Watery finish.
