1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ramenen (463) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - SEP 20, 2007
Light Sapporo beer=tastless, odor less and extremely carbonated. Thirst quencher, and better than drinking water.

12 oz. bottle. Poured into a Sam Adams glass: I want to give this a fair chance to impress me. Pale, straw-yellow body under pillowy head that’s "gone in 60 seconds." Smell of skunk and oxidation. First taste is kind of sour and pissy, with old banana in the background. No improvement as I drink further down. Just stays watery, sour and bad-coffee bitter instead of hop bitter. Not much malt to find. From the loose bottle rack at <a href=http://ratebeer.com/Place/illinois/downers-gr Wines in Downers Grove.

Bottle. Pours almost lifeless and yellow. Head diminishes quickly leaving a thin body of tainted orange/yellow. Smells like hoppy mineral water, and tastes about the same but with the added bonus of a weak malt presence. Watery palate. Good for sake bombs but not much else.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - FEB 9, 2007
Bottled, whilst in NYC. Extraordinarily poor beer. Possibly defining its’ own category, the ’Super Light’ category. Pale yellow, light on everything.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 20, 2007
really not that bad, has a decent light hop addition to complement the light malts and probably the use of corn syrup or rice. But still better than most light amderican beers.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rdelljh (153) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2006
Lacks the body that regular sapporo has.
This light beats the american light beers anyday. It has a light amber color and light carbonation.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 PorterPounder (4611) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 23, 2006
Kitcho Restaurant, Tallahassee, Fl. - 12 oz bottle. Light golden pour, snow white head, slightly thin, leaves a good trail of lacing. Not much of a noticeable aroma, pehaps a hint of fresh lake water, and a hint of yeast. Flavor was crisp and had a trace of maltiness in the back end. Detect aa trace of honey sweetness. Thinnish mouthfeel and a metallicy finish.
