2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A regular lager to go along with a meal with friends. Not much to point out on a rather simple beer. Not much carbonation or head but a rather lively beer.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not bad with sushi :) Can that be all? Actually, per style, it really wasn’t bad, I’m just not a light ale kinda guy, except for the hoppy session ipas that have been popping up recently. This is a reasonable quality light lager...lawnmower beer at best...though I’d still prefer All Day IPA."

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Seafood Cty: Poured a sparkling golden blonde liquid with a soft foam head which quickly breaks down into a thin film covering. Aroma was faint but did have the same quality smell of malts that the regular Sapporo beer does have which is good sign considering this is a light beer. The drink is crisp and refreshing and taste nearly identical to the original Sapporo recipe and I must say this is one of the better light beers I have come across in the vast offerings of piss water Light/LITE beers in the market.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sapporo Light has a thin, white head, a somewhat hazy, bubbly straw appearance, and a bit of spider web lacing left behind. The aroma is quite rich and pungent, with sweet, biscuit malt and grass. The flavor, however, is watered down. One will detect a slight hop bitterness and a touch of grain husk. Mouthfeel is not as light a usual, and one will experience a pleasant body, here. Sapporo Light finishes mostly dry, crisp, and refreshing. Yes, it is a rather dull, light beer, but in the style, it is much better than usual. RJT

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Very light clear gold pour with a big white head. Perfume, straw, grain. Light body with quite a bit of carbonation. Watery with slight sweet grainy finish. Not offensive like most light beer. Not bad

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours slightly hazed gold with a short, weak, off-white head.
Aroma is very faint....straw/grass and water.
Taste is mostly carbonated water and malt.
No bad flavours really, but what taste there is, is so light as to be nearly non-existent.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Thin head on top of a clear, lightest straw colored body. It’s almost colorless.
Strong metallic smell with a hint of honey.
Taste is watery, a little metallic, mild bitterness and sweet end. Faint taste overall.
Light body, moderate carbonation.
Nothing special or interesting. Another light lager without flavor.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is one of the more flavorful "light" beers that I have tried and it’s still crisp and almost flavorlessly clean on the finish. The carbonation didn’t seem as over the top as most American versions either.
