Solid for a daisan, but the alcohol taste will still put this behind any beer. Pickup if you’re short a yen.

Soapy smell. Sweet malt, straw, cardboard, dirty bitter finish. One more random weak beer imitation.

Lata. Clear yellow, small white bubbly head. Mild aroma: Mild grain, something bit herbal hoppy like with light malt. Thin mouthfeel. Mild flavour: Grains with some sweetness along with light hoppish berbal touch, mild bitterness.

Can in Room, Hearton Hotel Kyoto. Clear golden - white head. Flat, straw, malty touch, breadish, metallic, light bitterness, light cardboard, light candlewax, ok body, needs some freshness. Rather boring.

Can. Given as an sample at local Yamaya. No bar code. This is a "daisan" (third-category) brew developed jointly by Sapporo Breweries and AEON Co. Stinky cardboardy spirits aroma. Clear pale straw color. Initial has a somewhat rasty hits of spirits; then it goes a bit sweet. Thin body, with some carbonation kick. Not as bad as some daisan brews, but not one I’ll have again. Yada!
