Golden straw color. Smooth, light bodied, and crisp finish. Certainly has its own flavor different from most pale lagers. Beats most macro pale lagers. A little watery, but there are some sweet and bitter flavors going on.

Nov 21, 2008 Pours golden yellow with a moderately sized off-white head which rapidly dissipates. Moderate to high carbonation with low bitterness. No aroma to speak off, slightly malty if anything. Medium bodied with a short crisp finish. An OK beer, best I’ve had from Japan so far. - 650ml can.

Nov 19, 2008 Pours bright gold into an English pint. White head with medium retention. Rice and adjunct aromas. Crisp and malty with a dry finish.

Nov 16, 2008 Hey, it’s my first beer from Sleeman! Can from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a light pale yellow with a one-finger head... frothy but poor retention. Slightly fruity and very grainy aroma. Creamy, grainy taste with subtle bitter notes. Sweet overall and medium bodied.

Oct 29, 2008 This is what I call a light not beer drinkers beer. I thought it would be good as it is an import but i was wrong. This is a little sweet but watery with a little malt.

Oct 25, 2008 The infamous 22 oz. can while out on a Liquor store run with the girlfriend. I’ve been slumming it the last couple days, why not indulge further? Pours a transparent yellow, although a more ’Prominent’ yellow than a BMC. Head is big and carbonated, dissipates quickly to a thin film. Aromas are very light, vague sweetness, hard to pick out any hoppiness. Taste is similar, bland sweetness that is balanced more with carbonation than any type of hop profile. Mediocre. Plenty of other ’Psuedo-Micro’ lagers I’d rather down.
