JanLaursen (3084) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle: Pale yellow beer a white head. Sweet grainy aroma with weak notes of straw, grass and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Quite crisp, slightly watery and averagely carbonated. Dry, light bitter finish. OK as a companion to sushi, but streamlined. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml Bottle picked up in the Japan resturant in the Frankfurt Airport, Germany. My bottle says it was brewed in London. Pours a pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt and some hops. The taste is plain, some hops and some metal. Palate is ok somewhat smooth. Nothing special.

Pretty simple lager. I got loads of Pilsener malt in both the aroma and taste, slight hop aroma. Clean and brilliantly clear.

humlelala (984) - DENMARK - SEP 16, 2011
(blind-sampled at Election Day Pale Lager Challenge) Pours a clear, pale golden with medium, white head. Aroma is faint, cardboard and slightly starchy, malty. Watery on the palate, weak-bodied, medium carbonation and no finish. Not much taste - a little, vegetal bitterness. Girlfriend says: "Really common."
