33cl bottle. Nice golden color with medium white head. Small bubbles and pretty low carbonation. Lightly bodied but nice spices and refreshing lager. Not best but better than average.

Aroma: light grain malts. Appearance: clear, pale gold, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: remains bitter throughout, boring grain malts. Overall: boring Pale Lager. Can from Lidl, Port de Alcudia.

Bottle. Thin grainy broth on chlorine infused pool water, with a suggestion of apples and a dry, astringent bitterness. Very unpleasant experience.

Sapporo Premium Lager, 4.7%, 10.8°. Brewed by Diageo in Dundalk. Rated this under that other entry... moving the rating. :)
Poured a golden colour with a small white head that went away fast. Malty nose, a bit flowery. Ok actually. Empty, watery taste, Some spicy hops, a bit lemoney, dusty, some alcohol (wtf) and some maltiness that keeps itself way back in the background. Very faint lemon seed aftertaste. Drinkable but unimpressive and at the price (10.90kn) not something I’ll drink again soon.

Of all of the things you order with sushi, Sapporo is probably one of the better Japanese options. Same-old ricey watery lager.

jookos (2268) - FINLAND - SEP 15, 2014
Bottle. Typical light tasting international lager. Fell clearly into the ’murky damp’- category of those, even if it had quite a bit of neutral rice/maize tastelessness.

Weisser Schaum auf klaren goldgelben Bier. Der Duft ist Hopfenhaltig. Der erste Schluck ist leicht bitter, aber dennoch mild im Abgang. Bier ist OK.

Clear yellow golden appearance, medium head. Malty and light, typical and not outstanding Pale Lager.

0,3l Flasche. Gelbes Lagerbier mit relativ kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht leicht malzig, wird im Geschmack bestätigt, zum Abschluß etwas bitter.

Alengrin (1824) - BELGIUM - SEP 2, 2014
Popular Japanese standard ’pils’ with pale golden colour and loose, snow white head; malt sweetness in the nose as well as corn and a vague sourish touch, finished with faint aromatic hops. Neutral taste, vague sweetishness, grainy and some corn with mild hop bitterishness in the finish, bit metallic too. Just another boring mass-marketed pale lager.

Maakun (657) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2014 Clear golden with small white head. Light malty with some cardboard and nuts. Light fruit and herbal bitterness. I actually quite like the nutty malts, if this would have more hops it would be good, now it’s just a above average macro lager. I drank half and then used the other half to catch snails there were eating my pepper plants. I actually cough a 250ml cup full of snails with only 100ml beer, so even if you don’t like to drink this it’s recommended to get rid of snail problems.
