Not much to say about this. Corn adjunct pervasive. Some hay and grass. Not terrible but I hoped for a better compliment to a good sushi dinner

standard lager for better and worse...much better than some of the swill out there, but still nothing I’d get again given decent choices. crisp and dry. good with sushi.

500ml can served in a chalice.
A: Pours a pale yellow clear color forming a medium bubbled white head. Retention is low and some few lacings are left
S: Smells like white bread. Very grainy with some grassy hops
T: Very grainy too. Sweet grains upfront. Bitter hops aftertaste. Lager yeasts can be noticed too. A bit metallic. In overall, a dry bitter taste
M: Very light body. Strong carbonation. Reasonable hoppy bitter aftertaste
O: Average Lager. Easy drinking beer

330ml bottle - brewed in the EU
Stinky off aroma. Pale, fizzy. Watery. Corny taste. Hint of extracty hops. Weak watery nonsense. Papery as the hop extracts build up.

Aroma: light grain malts. Appearance: clear, pale gold, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: remains bitter throughout, boring grain malts. Overall: boring Pale Lager. Can from Lidl, Port de Alcudia.

Bottle. Thin grainy broth on chlorine infused pool water, with a suggestion of apples and a dry, astringent bitterness. Very unpleasant experience.

Sapporo Premium Lager, 4.7%, 10.8°. Brewed by Diageo in Dundalk. Rated this under that other entry... moving the rating. :)
Poured a golden colour with a small white head that went away fast. Malty nose, a bit flowery. Ok actually. Empty, watery taste, Some spicy hops, a bit lemoney, dusty, some alcohol (wtf) and some maltiness that keeps itself way back in the background. Very faint lemon seed aftertaste. Drinkable but unimpressive and at the price (10.90kn) not something I’ll drink again soon.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Of all of the things you order with sushi, Sapporo is probably one of the better Japanese options. Same-old ricey watery lager.
