Appears a solid, crisp gold with a 2 finger white head that slowly fades out. Medium amounts of carbonation rise to the top. Some sticky streaks of lacing is left around the interior of the glass.
Smell is of doughy, grainy, dried corn, and a metallic, earthy, floral note infused with honey.
Taste is of the same aromas. Nothing special in there though. Pretty run of the mill Euro lager.
Mouthfeel is metallic, honey sweet, and mildly bitter. This is medium bodied and crisp. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Pale lager, but much less malty and more bitter than the regular Sapporo. Very pleasant, with a refreshing carbonation. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA

Malty, little to no hop. Not many flavours jump out. It’s an unimpressive lager. Better than the macros, but not by much. I don’t know if it’s just my mind associating the two Asian brews, but it does bear a resemblance to Tsingtao. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 25, 2006 22 oz can. Golden clear with a decent head that actually stuck around for a while. Aromas were a little weak and were a bit sour. I guess it was good that they were weak. flavors were better. Malt with some hops. A little soapy on the finish, but drinkable. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2006 This bottled brew from the Mikado Restaurant in Indianapolis poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was mild and malt liquorish with a mild bready doughy note. The mouth feel was mild smooth and creamy. It also had a good smooth thick malt flavor that was rather tasty. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Gold with a small white head. Grainy, sweet corn aroma; Malty lager flavor, but you can taste more hops than typical American macros, a little bitterness in the finish.
