papajohn (1054), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA Dec 18, 2005 Light sweet grassy aroma. Pale golden color with a medium white head. Flavor starts lightly sweet and grainy turning fairly bitter (grassy) with a crisp dry finish. Thin texture, lively carbonation. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Dec 13, 2005 Gold Coloring with White Skin. Rice Aroa. Rice/Corny Flavor. Dry Ending. Actually Much Easier to Handle Then the Regular Version. Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Dec 10, 2005 Light amber colour. Light pale malt, fusel and grassy hop aroma. Mild bitterness from noble varieties, light pale malt sweetness and macroish acidity on the palate. Why are so many macrobrews tart like this? badgerben (3586), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Nov 4, 2005 Gold color with a thin head. Aroma of sweet grains. The taste takes an unfortunate turn for sourville. Standard macro. JakeFr5150 (23), Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, USA Oct 2, 2005 650 ml Can: Pretty much the same as Sapporo Draft. The can is the most exciting part of it. More or less has the same taste as Draft, but slightly more robust due to the all malt (or so they say) brewing. Seems to have more of the aromatic floral scent to it - not sure what that is all about. Tastes like roses to, to a point. Finishes very dry, with no notable aftertaste - Japanese Dry to a T. Definitely recommended over Sapporo Draft, but its hard to find, at least in my area. LiebeBier (788), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Oct 2, 2005 This beer was deeper in color and maltier than the standard Sapporo. I really prefer the regular Sapporo more with Sushi. clifford0163 (93), Maryland, USA Sep 19, 2005 i did not like this beer. it did not have a nice flavor that stoud out amoung lagers. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA Sep 15, 2005 Not quite clear, fat white head and golden in color. Fruity, spicy, ester aroma with a hint of alcohol. Somewhat dirty flavor reminding me of an ashtray. Vegetable finish. I think this bottle is past its prime.
