2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 henry3r (586) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - OCT 2, 2006
The 22 ounce can poured a sparkling clear light golden copper colored beverage with a modest, fizzy white head that was mostly diminishing but left very little lacing on the glass. The aroma was well balanced with a good malty presence. It also had a subtle floral hop character in the background. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a crisp, thirst quenching texture. The flavor started off slightly bitter with good malt underpinnings. The finish was medium in length and the light bitterness and malt characters held true to the end.

Clear copper with a lot of carbonation. The head left without much to say. Toasted malts. Some caramel and some fruits in the hops. A touch of a buttery aroma. The caramel is stronger with a lot more of the toasted malts. Some bitterness there at the end. Thick and malty body. Husky finish.

had the reserve the classic and the regular? this one may have had a bit more of a cereal malt flavor to it then the others. it states its brewed twice as long as other? what the hell does that mean to this one dimensional beer more starches from the rice?

Bottle. Is this a beer? I have no idea want I am doing drinking this things. Trying to get to a 1000 may not be worth it. Very little aroma beer or otherwise. Taste? What taste?

Thanks to Lisa Wolters for this...
Appears a solid, crisp gold with a 2 finger white head that slowly fades out. Medium amounts of carbonation rise to the top. Some sticky streaks of lacing is left around the interior of the glass.
Smell is of doughy, grainy, dried corn, and a metallic, earthy, floral note infused with honey.
Taste is of the same aromas. Nothing special in there though. Pretty run of the mill Euro lager.
Mouthfeel is metallic, honey sweet, and mildly bitter. This is medium bodied and crisp.

Pale lager, but much less malty and more bitter than the regular Sapporo. Very pleasant, with a refreshing carbonation.

16oz bottle, brewed in Canada. Pours crystal-clear golden, with a moderate white head. Malty, little to no hop. Not many flavours jump out. It’s an unimpressive lager. Better than the macros, but not by much. I don’t know if it’s just my mind associating the two Asian brews, but it does bear a resemblance to Tsingtao.

22 oz can. Golden clear with a decent head that actually stuck around for a while. Aromas were a little weak and were a bit sour. I guess it was good that they were weak. flavors were better. Malt with some hops. A little soapy on the finish, but drinkable.
