Malty aroma and not much else. Start of cereal malt taste that ends abruptly for not much of a finish. Overall nothing that stands out but an average beer to sip on. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 17, 2008 22oz can. Light gold with a sturdy white head. Herb, leaf, metal, and soap aroma. Slightly honeyish, crackery malts with an abrasively bitter herbal finish that really isn’t too bitter. Light body with lively carbonation. Not terrible, but the bitterness in the finish is not jelling with the watery malt profile. NJBeerman013 (771), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Can. Super Premium? not so much. Pours a straw yellow in color with a big white head. The aroma is malty, but not of filler corn/rice. It is a pretty clean, non-descript lager. The can, however is still almost indestructable, which is kind of cool. Gypsy19 (620), California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 13, 2008 A predictably dull beer that surpasses American lager standards but is still completely forgettable. Drinkable, and nothing more. I should add that the can is made of a kevlar-titanium alloy; Virtually indestructible, crush-proof and ICBM-proof. blutt59 (2100), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Awesome big shiny can bought at the Utah State Store. Pours a clear golden body with a medium foamy head. A pleasant aroma of sweet malt, grasses and light floral hops. The taste is very smooth and quaffable; a smooth rich malt presence, it leaves your palate cleanly and ends with a pure watery feel. Just a touch of hops too. Not bad at all, good quality always comes through. bitbucket (2031), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Pint bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. Unfortunate catty edge to the nose. Hard to get around it, but behind the cat is a bit of fruit, grass and spice. Medium body and minimal carbonation. Lightly sweet taste with honey, bread and grass. The finish sort of wanders off into the weeds. I was hoping for a bit more from a super-duper premium lager with "only finest European barley, and the most select European hops. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 28, 2008 Bottle. 22 oz. Poured a light clear gold. Not a whole lot going on in the nose. Tasted pretty similar to a miller lite actually. So, better than I expected for a Jap beer. But still not a good brew as Miller Lite is only good for chugging. Cool can though.
