A little more bitter than the Sapporo & has a little more flavor but isn't its superior. Very metallic out of the can. A lot of beer for the price. Great cans but not the best. Full of malt flavor, but also a little bitterness. Not much body to it. Better than most American macros. WisconsinBeer (536), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2005 Pours a medium yellow with a head that quickly dissipates to nothing. Initial grain aromas, nothing offensive. Some hop flavor with a generic malt sweetness in the background. Decent on its own, but it would be alot better with some spicy Asian food. 22oz can perfect tallboy size. Brewed in Canada "IMported" to US. Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Bottle - slightly skunky malt aroma. No noticeable hops. Looked like Bud Light. Flavor was much like the aroma, but with a strong corn taste. Not real good. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Aroma is light bready malt, maybe a hint of European-style hops. Flavor has a fairly good malt backbone, with again a hint of hops, and moderate acidity. A reasonable lager, and to my surprise actually better than the normal Sapporo lager. vtafro (494), , New Jersey, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 5, 2009 With great shame, I purchased and drank this beer in honor of the Super Bowl, where cheap lagers runneth over in the chalices of avid sports fans. Without a TV and without interest, I drink this to honor my manliness and American-ness while writing a paper. What’s there to say? The can is a great design, but it tastes corny and thin. In fact, it doesn’t taste bad. It just tastes like water. Too bad I didn’t just have a glass of water. Maybe this is better when watching Japanese baseball games.
