"an above average macro lager...but in the end still a macro lager. a little more flavorful and hoppy in the aroma than Sapparo premium, but still weakish. malt leaning aroma and thin flavor."

Can from old backlog notes. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grainy malts, corn, dusty, I don’t get the reserve as the regular beer is probably better.

The pour produces a tall white head over a deep golden body with excellent clarity. The head slowly fades and just keeps a small cap tight foam till the last sip. It also makes some cool lace pattern on the glass. It has a raw grain with a straw and light floral like hop bouquet. Overall it’s light, simple and very clean. The flavor profile has the same clean grain and straw/floral hop mix with a dry biscuity finish. Its light to body is refreshing and well carbonated.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, K3012G bottle code. Pours fairly crystal clear bright gold color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hop, and light yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and light yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Flavors are very clean as well with no overly estery yeast notes. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and clean mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice pale lager style. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and light yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Can. A- Cereal, corn, malty, grassy. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Corn, slightly sweet, malty, cereal, watery. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Couldn’t tell much difference from the normal Sapporo. Still boring and just another lager.

Traditional nose and pale appearance, slightly more malty than the original Sapporo but still tastes like your usual Asian pale lager. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Can 22 oz in Pompano Beach, FL Pours with a largish, foamy, off-white head covering a deep yellow body. Aroma is a bit of wheat and maybe a little corn, with a fruity note at the end. Ultra thin mouthfeel. A little bit spicy and metallicy. There is also an odd apple taste to the beer. Interesting Japanese lager.
