heemer77 (4187), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 30, 2005 From a 22 oz. can. Dark gold with a large white head. Aroma of carrots and celery with some white bread. The taste is A full vegetable with some celery and leaf lettuce. This is fairly inoffensive, I guess.
vtafro (212), , New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2009 Can. Much better if the two sapporo beers tryed next to each other. Still a very light flavored beer. Not awful. joeneugs (160), Livermore, California, USA Jun 8, 2009 This was acually a pleasant surprise. Didn’t get a good look at it, since I drank it from the can, but the aroma was pretty non descript and macro like. Kind of sweet, little floral hop, kind of dusty smelling. The taste was floral, with peat and a hint of sweet malt. Maybe I’m crazy but it faintly reminded me of a single malt scotch. Faintly. Overall, not bad. I may revisit this one later. BückDich (4641), McCall, Idaho, USA Jun 1, 2009 Magnum Can: Golden color with a light fizz. The nose is mild with some malt and a little thin hops. Grassy would be a stretch. Crisp flavor and a decent body for sapporo. Better than their usual but I don’t know if reserve would be an appropriate descriptor. Sparky27 (1386), Phoenix, Arizona, USA May 13, 2009 Can. Pours light gold/yellow with a 3 finger stark white head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is grassy hops and malt. The taste is sweet malt, grain, grassy and metallic hops. Lighter mouthfeel. Meh, not great but refreshing. Trev (749), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA May 1, 2009 Med. Gold with thick white pillowy head.
Aroma is not bad, light malt sweetness, not too grainy, very light grassy hop.
Flanour is sweet malt, grassy hop again. Not bad. GMUcrew7 (323), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Apr 26, 2009 Pours deep golden color with a white head. Very sweet malty aroma. Light flavor, sweet malt and bread. Was good for washing down spicy sushi but probably not much else. topherh (675), Kearney, Missouri, USA Apr 6, 2009 22 oz can pours brilliant golden with a decent white head and a sweet malty aroma. Flavor is light hop bitterness and sweet malt. Light and easy to drink. I think I like the regular version better. aetheon (45), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA Apr 3, 2009 medium golden yellow, big head, lots of lacing. nice maulty aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is of light-medium roasted malts - lots of malts. light hoppy finish that is overall pretty smooth.notes of toasted wheat bread, corn and dough.
Overall a nice light bodied beer - I would have no problem having this again.
