After tasting, this strong lager from Japan appears simply to be the regular Sapporo with the alcohol content turned up. However, the alcohol is not well-hidden, and lingers both on the palate and in the aftertaste. Though it’s not as serious an issue here as some of the mainstream North America strong lagers, it does affect the taste--what little there is. It’s a bland Sapporo-like taste. Not recommended unless you want the extra alcohol.
