Pours very crappy and dissapointingly. Pale yellow with a fizzy worthless head that dissapears quickly. Not much aroma here and what little I did get was skunky and boozy. Taste is pretty hoppy and bitter. In fact much more so than I expected, all malts and sweetness are masked by the hops. The hop profile sucks though all bittering hops and nothing for the aroma. This stuff isn’t that great.

Sep 20, 2007 Can: Pours a clear gold, no head or lacing, very fizzy and dissapointing appearance like the other japanese beers I’ve had so far. The nose is thin and dry, some light malts and a pleasant lightly hopped tail. The flavor is thin, dry, a hint of malts. Relatively unappetizing and nearly devoid of flavor. Bravo.

Jun 26, 2007 i did note dry--overall, a bit buttery in the palate with plain popcorn taste; yeaup...actually, inoffensive and if i had to choose a few among many japanese macros to drink, this would be one of them; clean without a prick; interestingly, the head becomes rocky and leaves some chaotic lacing...
