3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Silky Yebisu was pretty good, so thought I'd give this one a burl. Sweet aromas brown sugar, soy sauce and malt. Mild carbonation. Not nearly as sticky as I'd expected, but not too watery either. Good balance of richness and taste. Good stuff.

Black with beige head, aroma of roasted malts and caramel, same as its taste that adds licorice. Thin body, low bitterness. Not memorable but an OK beer.

not too shabby. thin but well roasted aroma and flavor. can’t compare to the regular black as I had them too far apart and one on draft, but seem similar enough.

Great tasting dark beer, easily the best available by Japan’s majors. Deep color and full taste.

350 ml can bought at YATA in Grand Century Place, Mong Kok.
Clear deep blackish brown colour; Less than one-quarter finger head and residual soapy beige foam which fades in 20 seconds; Very small sticky lacing and notable small carbonation; Quite fragrant aroma of roasted malt, with black coffee, cream, caramel, hint of Cola, sugar and light sharp grass; Very light sweet taste of strong roasted malt, with strong roasted peanuts, light smoke, black coffee, burnt toast, light cream, shades of soy sauce, lime, bitter hops and strawy grass; Mid to light body. Slick and slightly creamy palate; Mouth feel is full dark malt - strongly roasted, very nutty and burnt toasty with bits of smoky feel. Good start. Decent black coffee with lingering light cream and light soy sauce in background, no sweetness. Licking good!... Hoppiness is light sharp grassy nose. Lime and grassy hop taste. Bitterness is moderate to strong, mashed well with roasted malt for a lasting, light astringent and roasty finish; Fairly dry after taste; Roasty and fairly bitter to mouth.
Comments: A very solid and decent Schwarz - it has good body, very roasty and nutty malt, nice creamy palate accompanied with neat hoppiness. Definitely way better than Asahi Super Dry Black and stand up well with many Euro Schwarzes. Solid and nice and will buy again!

w zapachu słody palone, karmel i lekkie śliwki. ciemnobrązowe, przejrzyste z kiepską pianą. w smaku lekka paloność i popiół, średnia goryczka, półpełne. przyzwoite ale nic specjalnego.
