Bottle, at Giraffe Mohadon Aksinim, pours clear golden bubbly with a nice head, aroma of cheese, malt and hay, flavors of malt, hops and mint, pretty bitter with a medium bodied, quite decent for Japanese macro lagers

25.05.2011. 0.33l Bottle. Ace Market, Paris. Yellow colour with whita head. This is some kind of strange beer with lots of different flavours. There is something with the balance..? I dont know. Good bitterness with notes of some grainy sweetness. There is also some good aromatic hop flavours.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 EdKing (772) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2011
At the Yebisu museum. Colour is deep malty amber. Good colour, lots of carbonation. Aroma is a little grassy. Flavour is mainly malt, and then a bit of hop bitterness. For what is essentially a mass produced hot weather beer this isn’t bad at all and is probably one of my favourite of the Japanese mass market beers, because of the malt character.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jgb9348 (3369) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 1, 2011
Deep caramel coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of strong malt, with some metal mixed in. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour, not much else in the taste, but quite bitter. Aftertaste is strong as well, no sweetness nor hops, just maltiness and bitter flavours. Overall, not horrible, just not great. I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased at a local Isakaya in Akasaka, Tokyo, Japan on 03-August-2010.

Can: Golden, almost clear, small - slowly collapsing - fluffy head; strong metallic traces in the bitter-grainy/strawy nose, accompanied ba a light acidity; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; short bitter-sweet finish followed by a light tartness. Yuk, deserves a call-back campaign.....
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 DasMollengrab (34) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2011
Smooth and refreshing in character, fruity aromas of grapes and clover, mild bitterness in the finish. Not quite special, but appealing nonetheless.

Bottle 330ml. Not bad, but pretty boring. Aroma of straw. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow, with a frothy head.
