3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not as good as its varied sister flavors, this one at least shines a bit from the more expensive ingredients supposedly used.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
This beer is all macro advertising smoke and mirrors. Itís pushed as the premium choice for macro beer drinkers and is priced higher than the others because of this fact. Well it tastes the same as the other Japanese macros: boring, malty, grainy, no balance.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A 6 pack thanks to Nagashima-san. Can pours out a golden amber topped with a white head. Nose is honey sweetness wheat grain and heavy malts. Taste is lots more of the sweetness grainy malts and a touch on bitterness on the end. Not so bad.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle into pint glass. Distant hoppy nose. Pale amber beer with rapidly diminishing head. Taste is clean with toasted malt/Weetbix finish which lingers. Not the greatest.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden colour with thin white head. Faint malty aroma with a hint of earthy mint. Thin bodied with fairly high carbonation. Clean tasting. Mint again with a touch of spiciness and bitterness on the tongue. A clear lager with some subtle differences.

Can. Clear straw yellow. Belgian lace. Odd, sweet hop nose. Bright body. Really strange sweet quality. Not great.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle poured in a chalice.
Good Lager. Better than the previous Sapporo Premium that Iíve had.
A: Clear golden-yellow color with a huge white head which dissipates quickly leaving no lacings at all
S: Nice smell of malts
T: Good taste of malts with a balanced bitterness
M: Very light body and medium carbonation

A decent lager. A little more depth and bitterness than most European offerings. Not bad.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is an actual beer, this first Iíve had after around 7 tinnies in Japan. You can tell too, although that doesnít necessarily make it any better than a happosei. Nothing much to note about the flavour, itís a bit malty, bit grainy, but a tad metallic.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
BB 03/2015. Poured a crystal clear pale amber colour with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly to a collar and laced poorly. Carbonation low and coarse. Aroma strongly malt, slightly sweet, slightly grainy, minor hops. Taste slight sweetness with a slight bitterness; becomes more malty as warms. Quite a light body but the mouthfeel doesnít feel watery. Smooth, crisp, light with a tart bitterness on the finish. One to drink cold and fast before it warms. Brought back from Japan by daughter Chrissie.
