Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Clear brown beer. residual tan head. Light dry palate. Sweeeeeet malt! Well integrated sweet candyish red fruits. Trace of toffee. Light dry finish. Bubblegum and jammy fruits aftertaste. This is a bloody sweet beer - and I have a sweet beer tooth but I could imagine this would bee too much for most!

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2013 Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. I have seen this at a lot of festivals, but never had it. Black/ruby colour with lasting beige head. Bit of sickly malt. No real hop but dryish finish. Syrupy malt. In fact very syrupy malt. Couldn?t drink too much of this. Nothing bad at all about it, but it?s like liquid malt. Re-rate. Really good fruity malty mouthfeel is great. Lovley beer

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 Cask @ Old Green Tree, Bath. Dark ruby-brown. Fruity aroma with lots of malt. The malts on the palate are gentle, slightly toffeeish, with a biscuity/fruity accent in the finish. The alcohol brings a little dryness. Excellent.
