3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2010 A perfectly decent and consistent brew when tasted in Sarajevo. Comparable to a 10% extract Czech brew with a lighter touch of hop. Quite pale in color, but fiercely beloved by the locals--who are repaying the debt from when the Sarajevska Brewery had the only available drinking water during the Siege.
A genuinely respectable pivo.

What other to try first in Bosnia than Sarajevsko. 31/09...tried 0.33 l bottle, later draught also. Poured pale yellow body with small head. Fainter, citrus hops aroma with little malts. Flavor dry, bitter, nothing too much to be quite pleasant. Long and bitter finish. Quite good beer.

Bottle. [thank you srdjan]. Pours a very pale golden with a thin white film head. Aroma is soft, lightly grassy hoppy. Mouthfeel is light, but not watery. Flavour has a general malty background, but also has a quite nice peppery, citric bitterness. God pilsner.

Canned, at Trogir (near Split), Croatia.
Pale golden ale with a thin, fine white head. Dissipating. Asparagus aroma, not much guts to it. Wet and insipid.

Have tried both draught and bottled versions here in Sarajevo and free flow is better. Light yellow in colour, lightly sparkling with a white, low-froth head. Initial taste of apple/cider ending with a strong, bitter after taste. Good beer on a hot day and easy to abuse on a session.
