[Bottle bought in Bazar Fyn, Odense.] Real poison. I think this bottle must have been lagered for too long time in a hot corner of this Yugo-shop. Notes of alcohol, grain, straw and bad old hops. According to the other ratings this beer deserves another test.

BlackHaddock (3635) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2014
Shared 330ml bottle with 5 others: not the greatest Pale Lager on earth but my first B & H country tick so I was interested in this brew. Straw blond, clear, clean and bright. It went downhill from there really. Corn hints and bland with a ’mass produced’ feel to the whole thing. A bit of a disappointment, but I should have expected a basic International style brew I suppose.

Bottle, pours clear gold with a thin white head, has a sweet malty aroma, taste is sweet malt as well but thin and a bit watery, not much to this one

MarkoNm (498) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 31, 2014
Pours a clear, golden color, topped with a hefty white head that soon settles to only a small cover. The aroma is pleasant but mild - some grains in addition to basic malty aroma. The taste starts slightly sweet, followed bybalanced body finishing with decent bitterness. No unpleasant feel in the aftertaste, just nice bittery feel. Refreshing, tasty. Just a great lager. One of my favourites.

gyllenbock (4560) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2014
On tap at Pivnica HS Sarajevo, May 2014. Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma and taste of grain, bread, citrus and some weak notes of metal. Drinkable but not that interesting.

This may have been off as it smelled like rotten fruit with a cloudy straw colour. Tastes as bad as it smells with an unpleasant oily palate.

In the summer of 2013 I was went to Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro. My favorite lager (and most of the beers I had were just that) during my trip was this one. It is crisp, with a lot more hops than most of the other swill I had the misfortune of tasting on my otherwise splendid vacation. I would venture a guess that there are stronger germanic influences behind this beer.
