A beer special in everything
Sarajevsko Premium has a special taste derived from fine select aromatic types of hops, that strengthen the taste of this beer. Because of that we attribute to our superb product special characteristics.

Swingtop Bottle (500ml) in Sarajevo. Cloudy gold, small head.l hop aroma. Taste ... bitter, sweet, some ceraeal, maybe corn. Mouthfeel is not the best an it is longer that I was expecting.

Swingtop 0,5ltr: Golden looks with an grassy taste and is far to sweet. And the label looks from the beers of Altenburger Brauerei and Leikeim Brauerei by the way.

Overheard: "Is this what Bosnia tastes like?" "Sarajevo."

A decent effort from a vastly improved brewer. Back in the 90s Sarajevsko Brewery produced inconsistent, but usually drinkable crips brews. Their Premium has more hoppiness than their other beers.

Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o mabel. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with an average size frothy white head. Aroma is malty, grainy and floral. Flavour of buttery caramel and light hops. Average bodied. Meh, its just O.K.

fancy swingtop bottle. pours slightly heavier than a normal sarajevsko but much the same appearance. Taste is more concentrated, heavier on the sweet malts, but still a light lager. I still can’t figure out these ’premium’ beers from the Balkan breweries (see my rating for Peja Premium). they’re like slightly souped-up versions of their normal beer. Not higher abv, not a new beer, just a touch more concentrated. And while these normal beers could stand some strengthening (in all areas...) the premium models don’t exactly do it right. they’re imprecise. This is still tasty enough and I guess an improvement on the original but I don’t think it is worth the fuss and higher price.
