Standing 4059’ above sea level, one of the Adirondack high peaks, Porter Mountain, is the inspiration for our 4059’ Porter that is full of roasted flavor. Brewed with English chocolate malt and English hops, you’ll taste roasted coffee and chocolate flavors from the malt balanced with a slight hop bitterness. Whether you’re up at 4059’ or at sea level, this style will have your taste buds climbing with excitement!

Yes, from a bottle this stuff is very attractive in looks and smell. Malty choco smell and a big black pour. Taste is fairly mild black beer, easy going and refined. One of the better dark beers I’ve had lately. Yes, rather friendly and easy going, quite refreshing for a change. No really bitter rudeness in this one. Could drink a few of these, not bad overall beer drinken experience.

Wonderful color Flavor and aroma. I was very impressed with the roasted taste it left. Perfect beer for my first Christmas decorating night of the year.
