COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Bottle. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Sweet old malt on the nose with some plum and old stone fruits behind it. Medium bodied, a bit of alcohol peeks through, which is odd for something so low in ABV. Spicy malt with a bit more sweetness and caramel. Lingering light bitterness with old fruit. Not good.

The final in the series of >5 yr old beers from my parents basement. No cellar gems found here. Pours a golden orange with no head. Aroma is fruity. Tastes slightly crisp but no hop character at all. Flat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not sure if it was too cold or what, but the bottle spewed when opened.... After it settled, pours copper, no real nose just a hint of German pilsner. Body is full, bitter and malty with flavors orange peel, caramel and pilsner skunk. Not impressed...

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (grain/cereal, husks, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs, apricot), with notes of concrete, metal, detergent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Grain husks and industrial flaws cover up any fleeting enticement this might have underneath.

Originally rated June 2012. Purchased at Walmart in Connecticut (under Adirondack Lager). :P. Pours an amber colour with a nice creamy off-white head that stays a long time. Good cereal malt and caramel notes. Same for taste with a little hop in the finish. Pretty decent for a lager. Refreshing, with more taste than most macros.

BlackIPA (716) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 1, 2013
Pours a deep gold with a white head. Aromas of some very light floral hops, sweet corn. Taste is similar to any standard macro lager but with a slightly healthier hop bite. Not bad.

Labeled as Adirondack Lager. Pours a hazy amber. Minor aroma of hops and malt. A little hoppy for my taste and in this class.

12oz Bottle into pint glass. Half finger worths head, dissapated quickly. Nice orange/yellow amber color, noticeable carbonation bubbles floating up. Aroma is very weak, almost maybe citrus? Very carbonated mouth feel, followed by generic lager taste which quickly leaves the mouth. A very weak beer.
