Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

My "craft"experience in college in the middle of nowhere. Ok amber. Nothing to write home about but drinkable I guess. Bit watery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a moderate white head. Little skunky, like a lot of cheap lagers. Slightly bitter malty taste. Bleh.

Medium dark amber color with a light head covering and blobs of lace. The taste is unpretentious, yet easy drinking. Caramel malt starts things assertively, followed near the finish by mild bitering and carbonation. Not a big deal, but much preffered to the national brands. Easily the best of the Saranacs I have had. Recommended for sessions and warm days.

It’s an easy little beer, not much going on. Probably a nice beer on a hot summer day. Don’t think, just drink!

Bottle, part of a variety pack. Pours a clear amber. Smells of grain, hay, straw, and tastes similar. Pretty thin, light body.

Bottle to pint. Looks decent; a transparent light-copper with white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes semi-sweet, doughy, and lagerish-skunky with an average mouthfeel. Alright.

Bouteille 12 oz. 5.4%. Couleur ambrée. Arôme de malt et céréale fraîches. En bouche, malt, caramel, un peu d’herbe. Très bonne lager ambrée.

The beer is clear and light copper in color, with a tiny head that recedes hastily, leaving minimal lacing. The aroma is pretty weak, emitting faint scents of sweet malt, fruit, and a general lager presence. The beer is sweet, perhaps a bit much. Grainy, malty, sweet, with a subtle fruitiness. The feel is thin to medium in body, with carbonation level lower than is customary. Overall, this is drinkable, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-14-2011

Overall I enjoyed Saranac’s Adirondack Lager more than most other traditional lagers you would find in your local gorcery store.
