COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Warm golden color with a decent thin head that stays around. Starts off smooth, but finishes with lots of hop flavor. Somewhat bitter aftertaste diminishes overall taste.

Light golden amber. White head is mostly diminishing, a lil lace. Sweet caramel, light floral/fruity nose. Caramel sweetness first, medium to light bodied, clean slightly bitter finish. A decent amber, one of Saranac’s better known, better brews. Mediocre, decent, not bad.

Nice light easy drinking amber although it’s a little stronger than it tastes. Pours well, nice golden red appearence. Certainly not the most flavorful amber I’ve had but their is enough sweetness and bit there to make this a good amber for the price.

A good amber, i like mine a little more robust, but this one is alright.

decent head with some lacing. nice amber (as the name states) color. quite a malty aroma. detected more bitterness in the flavor than sweetness.

I didn’t like this amber light caramel and bitter taste

Nice color, but really has no discernible flavor. I’ve certainly had better. Fairly good head, for a weak beer.

Clean amber (duh!) color with a thin off-white head. Very sweet malt aroma, almost chewy. Caramel flavors with a nice roasted feel followed by a snappy finish.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2005 A very beutiful amber color and an OK beige head. The aroma is nicely malty with some notes of brewing mash. It tastes malty sweet with light fruitiness and nuttiness. The end is somewhat dry with nutty notes.
