COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

I thought it was pretty good. In fact, I just bought a case yesterday! One of my favorite Saranac’s.

Have to agree with the rater who described this as inoffensive but only mildly interesting.

I like this beer. Except for the finish, I would say that it’s twins with Sam Adams Lager.

A good flavorful beer. I enjoyed it while walking my dog and smoking a good cigar. It just went down well.

fairly unremarkable amber, i suspect that if i were blindfolded i’d guess it was an ordinary american micro-lager. nice knotty pine yellow, but about as much head as a finishing nail. hot dog bun bready maltiness in smell, hops on the palate. improves as it warms somewhat, but great beers served ’round here seldom get a chance to warm up much, so that tells you this one languished somewhat.
