COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saranac Adirondack Amber is craft brewed with pure Adirondack water, bottom fermented and fully lagered to carefully balance the sweetness of two-row malt with the delicate bitterness of American Cascade and German Hallertauer hops. Look for a golden amber color and medium body. You’ll discover a distinctive flavorful beer that is deliciously drinkable. Enjoy!

Bright copper colour. Aroma is toasty, caramelly, with a slight nuttiness. Slightly sweet accent, with caramel and light toast. Slightly oxidized astringency in the finish.

Bottle from GBBF 09. Yes, not a bad little lager. It has the requisite hop bite, decent malt and nothing out of place. I thought this was pretty solid. Decent hop for the style. Would happily drink this again.

Big head on the pour fades to leave a clear amber body topped by a medium eggshell head. Aroma is earthy hoppy supplemented by a bit of caramel maltiness. Flavor is unimpressive, mild earthy hoppy but not much else. Kind of just sits there. A perfectly adequate beer, but I expect more.

Bottle. Nice amber colour with a medium fair lasting head. Aroma of malt, hoppy with a bit of caramel. Nice flavour of malt, nice fruitiness, some caramel. Little bitterness in the malty finish. Fresh and tasty brew.

Copper brown, not much head. A bit sweet, rubbery malty nose. Medium-bodied malty, balanced. Sweetish, a bit hoppy aftertaste.

Clear pale amber beer. Watery but crispy palate. Watery malt that just irritates, like a mass produced lager. A light hop touch can’t really redeem it. Pretty grim.
